Every Other Tool
Misses the Mark
Your Shoulder Blade
Has a Blind Spot
Foam rollers hit the surface. Massage guns buzz the exterior. Lacrosse balls roll away. But the subscapular muscles — the deep tissue directly beneath your scapula — have gone completely untouched.
That's where throwing velocity breaks down. Where shoulder impingement begins. Where tightness builds unaddressed for years, until injury forces the issue.
The ScapStick V2 is engineered specifically to access this unreachable zone — applying targeted, sustained pressure directly beneath the shoulder blade. No batteries. No partner. No compromise.

Solid Steel.
Zero Compromise.
Every ScapStick is machined from firm, powder-coated steel with a precision stainless-steel joint — not hollow plastic. It's built to take years of deep pressure without flexing, cracking or wearing out. That's the difference you feel in your hand, and the reason it lasts.
- Powder-coated matte steel shaft
- Precision stainless-steel joint
- Won't flex under deep pressure
- Built to last for years
Buy Once. Skip the Copays.
A ScapStick is a one-time cost you keep forever. Physical therapy adds up — visit after visit after visit.
*Estimated out-of-pocket cost of a standard physical therapy course. Actual costs vary by provider, plan, and treatment plan. The ScapStick is a recovery tool, not a replacement for medical care.
The Science Behind
Your Shoulder Pain
† Sources available on request.
The Hidden Engine of Every Throw
The subscapularis sits directly against the anterior face of the shoulder blade — sandwiched between the scapula and ribcage. It controls internal rotation, stabilizes the joint during the throwing motion, and decelerates the arm after release.
When it becomes restricted through repeated high-velocity throwing and poor recovery habits, the entire kinetic chain breaks down. Velocity drops. Mechanics compensate. Pain follows.
Why DIY Solutions Can Make It Worse
Foam rolling or massage gunning a tight shoulder is instinctual — but dangerous without understanding the anatomy. The suprascapular nerve runs through the shoulder region. Aggressive, misdirected pressure from standard tools can compress this nerve, causing weakness, numbness, and dysfunction.
Rolling directly over the posterior shoulder with hard foam rollers has been associated with suprascapular nerve compression in throwing athletes. The subscapularis cannot be reached from the posterior surface — it requires anterior scapular access.
